What is Keratoprosthesis (Artificial Cornea)?
Keratoprosthesis refers to the implantation of an artificial cornea in patients whose vision is severely impaired due to a cloudy or scarred cornea, especially when traditional corneal transplant (grafting) is not a viable option.
